Yeping Ancient Village: A Legacy of Red Finance Passed Down Through Generations

At the Yeping Revolutionary Site Complex, guided by docents, we visited one by one such historic sites and commemorative structures as the former headquarters of the National Bank of the Chinese Soviet Republic. It was within these modest buildings—each spanning less than 200 square meters—that the pioneers of the Republic laid the cornerstone of China’s red financial system, amassed invaluable experience for the establishment of a nationwide banking network, and bequeathed an enduring spirit of revolution that has been passed down through generations.

The sweet spring of the Red Well, where the bond between the military and the people grows ever stronger with time.

“When we drink water, we never forget those who dug the well; we always hold Chairman Mao in our hearts!” By the Red Well at Shazhouba, we listened to a vivid micro‑party lesson and engaged in lively discussions about the Red Well’s cultural legacy. We even tasted the crisp, clear water drawn with a wooden ladle, letting its sweet refreshment soothe us in the sweltering heat—feeling as though we had been transported back to the revolutionary era. In that moment, we deeply sensed the unbreakable bond between the Party and the people, their shared breath and common destiny.
