To enhance employees’ ability to respond to sudden safety incidents, standardize and strengthen the company’s fire safety management, and prevent and mitigate the hazards posed by fires, Southern Environmental Protection organized fire‑drill exercises at both its headquarters and construction sites, under the theme “Building Fire Safety Together, Preventing Fires Before They Start.”
Study theoretical knowledge
Prior to the drill, a theoretical training session was conducted. The Shenzhen Funeral Home invited fire safety educators to provide employees with a thorough briefing on common fire‑safety principles, while personnel from the Technical and Safety & Environmental departments of Southern Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. participated throughout, jointly organizing the event.
Operation Demonstration
After studying the theoretical knowledge, it was time for the practical drill. Before the exercise, the fire safety instructor first emphasized the importance of fire safety and demonstrated how to use a fire extinguisher. Following that, the instructor conducted a simulated firefighting exercise, covering key steps such as locating the ignition source and extinguishing the fire.
Headquarters Drill
Following this fire drill, the company’s management stated that it is essential to comprehensively strengthen the company’s fire safety infrastructure, manage the micro‑fire station in a scientifically sound manner, and, tailored to local conditions, ensure that all necessary rescue equipment, fire‑extinguishing devices, protective gear, and other facilities are fully equipped and readily available, thereby guaranteeing preparedness and sustained safety.
