Xi Jinping pointed out that the focus should be on leading cadres at the county level and above. Carrying out in-depth thematic education throughout the Party on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is a major initiative to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It is of great significance for unifying the Party’s thinking, addressing prominent problems within the Party, maintaining the close ties between the Party and the people, and advancing the cause of the Party and the country. Xi Jinping emphasized that this thematic education campaign must firmly adhere to the overarching requirements of “studying thought, strengthening Party character, emphasizing practical application, and achieving new accomplishments.” We must thoroughly study and grasp the Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, systematically master its fundamental tenets and scientific framework, and deeply understand its worldview and methodology.
